Description: Using a feminist psychoanalytical approach (including Nancy Chodorow and Jessica Benjamin's theories on child development), this work investigates the nature of mother-child and father-child relationships in autobiographical writings of the last two decades. It also investigates how family structures are influenced by the impact of the Holocaust and the discourse of mourning.
