This collection brings together for the first time the dramatic responses to the Holocaust from two generations of Israeli playwrights. Leah Goldberg, Aharon Megged, and Ben Zion Tomer were born in Eastern Europe and settled in British Palestine before World War II. Joshua Sobol and Motti Lerner were born in British Palestine and Israel respectively.
