Brief description: Yali Hashash is a Mizrahi queer feminist academic and organizer. She currently serves as the community organizer for the Isha L'isha Haifa Feminist Center, where she founded and coordinates the Feminists Against Armageddon Project. Originally published in Hebrew in 2022, her book Whose Daughter Are You? Ways to Speak Mizrahi Feminism received the Bernstein Prize for best monograph. Hashash has held fellowships at the University of Michigan, Tel Aviv University, Ben-Gurion University, and New York University.
