Review Quotes: All About Baby Animals series. Using minimal and repetitive texts, these books present animal babies in different arenas. The series, intended for pre-readers or early guided reading, may be useful for introducing youngsters to the concept of habitats and native animals; however, it's less than helpful that most of the books neglect to identify the animals by name. Vivid photos are appropriately adorable. Reading list, websites. Ind., The Horn Book Guide Spring 2011
