Brief description: Kenneth Newport BA, MA, MSt., DPhil (Oxon) is Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research and Academic Development) and Professor of Christian Thought at Liverpool Hope University. Prior to coming to Hope, Kenneth taught at the University of Manchester, St Andrew s University and in Hong Kong. He is a priest in the Church of England. Kenneth has published widely in a number of areas, and has a particular interest in early Methodism (especially the life, literature, theology and legacy of Charles Wesley) and in millennialism.
