Review Quotes:

So, once again Madison and Riley take off to the past to set things in the present day right, have adventures and mishaps and just get out in time to save their lives--or do they? There were enough twists and turns to keep the pages turning and some of the situations and dialogue are laugh-out-loud funny. The setting felt authentic (not like I've been to medieval England but hey...) and the characters they meet there are fabulous. I love the way this author weaves in female empowerment and writes such strong, fun characters. Cheryl, writer

This time Madison and Riley travel back to Medieval England, where they have to negotiate more time travel challenges, bearing in mind they have gone back to sort out glitches from their first adventure in Ancient Egypt. There are castles, knights, jousts and fantastic characters with some interesting relationships. You will meet the witty (well he thinks so) Jester, lords, ladies and whole hosts of knights in shining armour. Christine Crawley, history teacher and writer

Paulene creates another brilliant world, very different to the last but just as vivid, creative and fun. Look forward to seeing where this series goes next, and where/when the next adventure might take place. Another brilliant read for the YA audience, and beyond. Emma Hardy, book reviewer

This book is like a modern day Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court. The only difference is instead of A Connecticut Yankee from the United States it's two teenagers from Australia Madison and Riley. I was hooked in right away by the style and writing it has a lovely pacing throughout. Veronica Marshall, writer and book reviewer
