Brief description: Erin Murphy- Welch is a first time author. The mother of three, lives in a small town in Upstate NY. After her second child was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, she wanted to write a short story to spread awareness to children about being kind and accepting to others despite their differences, whether it be in the way we look, we learn, or we get around. Murphy-Welch hopes to provide a small look inside the life of someone who has to work a little harder to accomplish their goals.
