Brief description: David Little is the Harvard Divinity School Professor of the Practice in Religion, Ethnicity, and International Conflict and Faculty Associate at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. Before joining Harvard Divinity School, David was Senior Scholar in Religion, Ethics, and Human Rights at USIP, where he directed the Working Group on Religion, Ideology, and Peace. From 1996-8, he was on the State Department Advisory Committee on Religious Freedom Abroad. He co-authored Islamic Activism and US Foreign Policy and wrote two volumes in the USIP series on religion, nationalism, and intolerance.
