Description:
Nano-PCM Breakthroughs: Unlocking Efficient Energy Storage and Conversion in Photovoltaic Thermal Systems examines the integration of hybrid nano-phase change materials (HNPCMs) into photovoltaic thermal (PVT) systems, addressing the challenge of efficient, scalable energy storage. It analyses how nanotechnology improves thermal energy storage and conversion, and how these materials enhance solar capture, thermal regulation, and conversion efficiency across diverse climates, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
Readers will gain insight into the fabrication, characterization, and application of hybrid nano-PCMs, alongside recent research developments, design considerations, and thermal management approaches that boost thermal conductivity, energy density, and system stability. The book also introduces innovative uses such as nano-PCM integration in Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), supporting energy-efficient farming and climate resilience, and assesses the economic and environmental case for advanced thermal storage through cost analysis, sustainability indices, and lifecycle benefits.
Designed for researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and policymakers, it offers practical guidance, case studies, and performance assessments that support energy resilience, decarbonization, and wider climate goals.
