Description:

Accelerating the Transition to a Hydrogen Economy: Volume 3 Techno-Economic Feasibility provides a road map in the global economy from carbon to hydrogen. Within the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the book brings together global expertise from academia and industry to accelerate the science, innovation, and practice of the hydrogen economy to address energy challenges and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Divided into 2 parts, this third volume presents the techno-economic feasibility of the hydrogen economy and its policy-associated regulations from the perspective of technology, economics, and the environment. The book examines the development of the hydrogen economy within regional settings as a means for greater development, while presenting a vision for the implementation of the hydrogen economy in the long-term in each region. For each region, case studies are presented to highlight the current state of preparation and potential for a hydrogen economy.

Written by an international list of experts from across the fields of academia, industry, and government, Accelerating the Transition to a Hydrogen Economy provides valuable perspectives for scientists, engineers, professionals, and policymakers from developing and developed economies on how to accelerate the transition to the hydrogen economy.
