He has also worked as an Assistant Environmental Engineer in Spectro Analytical Labs Ltd. New Delhi and Green Circle Inc. Vadodara as Executive-Environmental Engineer. Dr. Markandeya availed life membership of Indian Association for Air Pollution Control, New Delhi, The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata and National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee, India. He is working on various fields related to Air, water and wastewater and also editor and reviewer of various peer reviewed National and International journals. He published more than 67 articles including International Peer Reviewed Journal (31), National Journal (10), Book Chapters (05), International Conferences (12) and other in National conferences.
