Brief description: Carmine P. F. Scavo, Ph.D. is emeritus professor of political science at East Carolina University where he has taught since 1985. He taught undergraduate and graduate courses in state and local government, intergovernmental relations, policy analysis, and methodology. His research interests include e-government, homeland security and disaster management, intergovernmental relations, and voting behavior. He has published a number of books and articles on these and other topics in his career.
