Brief description: Dinesh Bhatia pursued his PhD in Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Engineering from MNNIT, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Mumbai University, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was selected for the "Young Scientist Award (BOYSCAST)" in (2011-12) by the Government of India to pursue research in osteoarthritis (OA) at Adaptive Neural Systems Laboratory, Florida International University, Miami, Florida, USA. He was selected as one of the twelve young biomedical scientists by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India in 2015 to pursue research in the field of sensory prosthetics at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He has authored/published 300+ articles, 12 books, and 30 book chapters. His interest areas are smart healthcare technologies, assistive technologies, and environmental sustainability.
