Review Quotes: "Other textbooks entitled Osteoporosis adequately discuss traditional diagnostic criteria, risk factors, treatments, and preventative strategies. In contrast, this textbook is the most comprehensive resource for understanding the bone as an endocrine organ, not in isolation, but as something that is affected by a whole array of metabolic conditions. The sections are organized well to maximize content and avoid repetition. Weighted Numerical Score: 98 - 5 Stars!" --(c) Doody's Review Service, 2020, Jessica Hwan, reviewer, expert opinion
