Review Quotes:
Praise for the #1 New York Times bestseller The Graveyard Book, winner of the Newbery Medal (US) and the Carnegie Medal (UK): "The Graveyard Book, by turns exciting and witty, sinister and tender, shows Gaiman at the top of his form. In this novel of wonder, Neil Gaiman follows in the footsteps of long-ago storytellers, weaving a tale of unforgettable enchantment." - New York Times Book Review
Praise for P. Craig Russell's graphic novel adaptation of Neil Gaiman's New York Times bestseller Coraline: "A virtuoso adaptation. A master of fantastical landscapes, Russell sharpens the realism of his imagery, preserving the humanity of the characters and heightening the horror, even as Gaiman's concise storytelling ratchets up the eeriness." - ALA Booklist (starred review)
"Russell calls attention to the drama and wit of the language in each sentence...The real achievement of this adaptation is that readers will want to jump back to the novel and then leap back again, time after time." - Kirkus Reviews
" [A] lovely, lyrical adaptation...Fans of Gaiman's delightfully macabre sensibilities will be elated." - Booklist (starred review)

"The delights here are many." - NPR
"This adaptation celebrates friendship, loyalty, and family with similar humor and aplomb." - School Library Journal
"Gaiman's distinctive writing style remains intact in bits of dialogue and description, while meticulous drawings convey the story's implicit eeriness and violence without being overly gruesome or terrifying. Memorable characters spring to life, even as the illustrations keep the focus on Bod in all his curiosity and mischievousness. The narrative moves seamlessly between illustrators, each of whom craft a single chapter in his or her own unique style;" - Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books (starred review)
"The graphic novel captures and enhances the magic and horror in new and unexpected ways." - Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA)
